Hurdle empowers organizations to provide their employees/members with culturally informed mental health services, including digitally accessible self-mastery tools, wellness workshops, and teletherapy.  In this way, we support diverse populations who are underserved by traditional resources. About the Position.
We’re looking for an adaptive, multi-talented Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Lead to work directly with our executive team to help us achieve our vision. We seek a revenue cycle professional who is ready to roll up their sleeves and build upon the foundation of Hurdle’s current operations.

The Team.

This is a cross-functional role where you will be working with team members from Product, Operations, Marketing, Content and Clinical Operations to help us meet our goals. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously to improve our processes and will be managing multiple projects and priorities at once. Also, given the cross-functional nature of the role, you will have excellent business acumen, organizational expertise, and interpersonal skills.


  • You have 2+ years of experience in a tech, consulting, venture capital, or similar role
  • You’re obsessed with the problem of mental health and committed to delivering better solutions for people dealing with mental health issues
  • You have a strong understanding of various business functions
  • You have experience in data analysis and performance metrics, you are highly skilled at Excel and other quantitative tools
  • You are an excellent verbal and written communicator
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage company work environment

Role Responsibilities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations across the business
  • Support strategic initiatives and OKRs critical to the success of the business
  • Develop a deep understanding of data collection and analysis
  • Support financial systems tracking and reporting
  • Participate in and enhance sales and marketing activities
  • Produce, scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies.
  • Supports team in other administrative tasks as appropriate. 

Preference for:

  • Candidates who demonstrate a deep commitment to the problems we are solving
  • Candidates located in Washington, DC or mid-Atlantic. If based elsewhere, frequent travel to DC will be expected for this position once it is safe to do so
