Natalie Sanders, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Age: 43

Race/Ethnicity: Black/African

Religious Affiliation: Christian

Upbringing: rural

Licensed in: Virginia

Areas of Expertise: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, stress

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia with 19 years of experience working with adults who struggle with mental illness. I believe that it is important for therapists to understand that each client has varying needs, which requires us to adjust the therapeutic approach to help the client. I value the holistic approach to the therapeutic process. I feel I am able to help more individuals when I am open to utilizing various approaches. I also believe that it is important to meet the client where they are and to assist them with what they feel they need help with. Utilizing a client’s strengths is important, as I am here to help them build upon their abilities to manage their daily lives.
